Construction, design and building physics

Cross laminated timber elements are predominantly used for the load-bearing and non-load-bearing roof, ceiling and wall components when constructing detached and semi-detached houses, in multi-storey apartment construction, in the construction of schools, commercial and sacred buildings and comparable building projects, and are also sometimes used in industrial structures. In most cases, utilisation classes 1 or 2, or predominantly permanent loading applies. Experience has, however, also been made in bridge construction and therefore for changing loading. In general, cross laminated timber components are suitable for use in the following structural functions.
